Postpartum
Postpartum is Just Another Part of the Journey
Many women struggle with feeling overwhelmed once the baby is actually born. They feel confused, lost, think about their life prior to baby. And even though they are so happy to finally have the baby they have worked so hard to have in their arms, it can be emotionally overwhelming.
But no need to worry, the first step to dealing with the emotions is understanding what your body is going through and why you feel the way that you do.
I work with my new mamas to navigate through the difficulty of new baby and new mom emotions.

Health.com reached out to us and wrote a few paragraphs below on how bidets can benefit women during the postpartum period. They’ve created 2 excellent guides on using a bidet to help soothe an already irritated area!
Benefits of Bidets for Pregnant & Postpartum Women
Bidets offer several benefits for pregnant and postpartum women. Pregnancy can affect the body’s range of motion during the later months, making normal restroom routines a bit more challenging. A bidet removes the need to reach and bend in uncomfortable positions to clean after using the bathroom.
The advantages of bidets only continue after giving birth. Women may experience tenderness in the vaginal area, and hemorrhoids are a common occurrence after pregnancy. Wiping can irritate the area and may even be painful. A bidet offers a soothing stream of water to ease discomfort, reduce inflammation, and lessen irritation. They are also a more sanitary and hygienic way to keep the area clean and free from possible infections.
Health.com has created two helpful guides on how to use a bidet toilet seat, and the best bidets of 2021:

Irene Makriplis is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and founder of Lullaby & Me. Irene developed a passion for helping parents with their children’s sleep over her 10 year career as a nanny. She realized that every child’s situation is different and each child responds differently to various sleep training methods. Parents sometimes get overwhelmed while sleep training and when one technique doesn’t seem to be working, they give up. It’s important to understand sleep training is not a “one method fits all” solution and Irene helps guide parents through the process.
Irene is also the founder of the Pregnancy & Postpartum Skincare line, Irene Organics. In 2020, Irene discovered she was expecting her first child and wanted to create a product for herself and other moms that she knew was 100% safe and effective to use. That’s when she created a line of products that would help mothers like her to keep their skin feeling and looking good in a natural way without any harm.

The Breastfeeding Resource Center
The Breastfeeding Resource Center (BRC) was established in 2003 by two International Board Certified Lactation Consultants. They envisioned a place where mothers could go if they were having difficulty with breastfeeding, planning to return to work while continuing their breastfeeding relationship, needing assistance in choosing the right products, or just needing some support and reassurance. They also imagined it being a valuable resource for healthcare professionals serving breastfeeding families. It was strongly felt that this center should be accessible to all families, regardless of economic means.
